Workplace Safety at Frazer
At Frazer we are absolutely committed to safety. We strive not only to improve our safety and our environment every day, but also challenge ourselves to incorporate safety into every aspect of what we do. We don’t just want to build the safest, most reliable EMS vehicles on the market, we also want to do it in the safest way possible.
Bringing Safety in the Workplace to New Levels
Our focus on safety and our determination to raise that bar every day adds value across the enterprise. A broadened culture of safety awareness keeps our people engaged in building a safe company and opens their minds to potential developments in improving a safe product.
Employee Involvement
Frazerโs commitment to safety is built on involvement, communication, and accountability across the entire organization. Safety is a shared responsibility, and every team member plays a role in maintaining a safe and proactive work environment.
Our VPP Committee brings together safety-focused employees from across the company to strengthen communication, support new safety initiatives, address concerns, and develop practical solutions. Departments reinforce this commitment through daily morning huddles focused on safety topics, hazard awareness, and prevention.
Employees further support our safety culture by identifying hazards, participating in self-audits, and continuously improving work practices and workplace conditions.
Safety also remains a priority at our monthly company-wide meetings, where teams discuss updates, concerns, and solutions to help strengthen safety awareness and continuous improvement throughout Frazer.
Hazard Identification
Hazard prevention starts with hazard awareness. At Frazer, we continuously train and encourage employees to identify potential hazards throughout the workplace. By spotting issues early, we can take corrective action quickly, prevent repeat incidents, and maintain a safer environment for everyone. This proactive mindset has driven continuous safety improvements across our facility.
To strengthen employee involvement, Frazer created the โBadge Incentiveโ Program, which recognizes team members for reporting hazards through our streamlined reporting system. As employees reach new reporting milestones, they earn recognition that reflects their commitment to workplace safety and supporting their fellow team members.
Prevention & Control
Arguably the most important aspect of Frazer’s commitment to Safety is Hazard Prevention. Frazer has many programs to identify and eliminate hazards around the workplace. Each department follows a strategic procedure for controlling hazards and minimizing risks. Hazard Prevention at Frazer consists of the following:

- Monthly Safety Audits in every department
- Ensuring that, when needed, there are medical programs available to help deal with workplace hazards and exposures.
- Ensuring that everyone is properly trained via Safety Skills on all aspects of their role and place of work.
Education & Training
Tying all of Frazer’s Safety standards together is the education and training of our employees. Continued improvement in safety comes with continued improvement in training and education including, but not limited to:
- Keeping employees up to date with current safety standards and requirements.
- Distributing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to employees.
