Texas rural EMS providers – Are you aware of the HB 3000 Rural Ambulance Service Grant Program?

House Bill 3000 (HB 3000) offers Texas EMS grants to eligible rural counties to support emergency medical services, including funding for new ambulance purchases.

In this video, Nathan, Frazer’s Specialty Mobile Healthcare Manager, breaks down:

• Who is eligible for HB 3000 Texas EMS grants

• How much funding rural counties may qualify for

• Key application requirements and deadlines

Grant amounts:

• Counties with under 10,000 residents: up to $500,000

• Counties with 10,000 – 68,750 residents: up to $350,000

Applications must be submitted by your county judge, may include up to two ambulance service providers, and must be completed by January 31.

At Frazer, our goal is to educate and support our EMS partners – not just with emergency vehicles, but with information that helps departments plan, fund, and strengthen their operations. If you have questions about eligibility, timing, or fleet planning, visit the Texas Comptroller’s website or reach out to your Frazer Regional Support Manager.
