At Frazer, our commitment to first responders goes far beyond the vehicles we build. We are honored to spotlight and support the Bryant Gladney Foundation, an organization dedicated to empowering the next generation of emergency medical professionals.
The foundation was established to carry forward the remarkable legacy of Assistant Chief Bryant Gladney. An esteemed paramedic and training leader, Chief Gladney spent over 25 years shaping EMS professionals and built one of Missouri’s most respected EMS education programs at the Boone County Fire Protection District. Following his tragic death in the line of duty in 2021, his family launched the foundation to honor his memory and continue his lifelong passion for teaching and serving others.
Today, the organization invests directly in the pipeline of new first responders through the Bryant Gladney Paramedic Education Scholarship. This program awards $1,500 tuition scholarships to students nationwide who exhibit a strong passion for serving their communities and plan to pursue a career in emergency medicine. By helping offset the financial burden of training, the foundation has already awarded $42,000 to 31 paramedic students since 2022.
Beyond scholarships, the foundation advances ongoing EMS education through professional development and national events like the All-Star EMS Conference. It is a powerful, lasting tribute to a fallen hero, ensuring that aspiring paramedics are supported, educated, and fully ready to answer the call.
