Rolling out new: Savannah River Site Fire Department’s custom emergency vehicle!
This custom 14 ft Type I EMS Vehicle for Savannah River Site Fire Department is built on a 2024 Ford F-550 gasoline chassis with a 4×2 drivetrain and features an Onan 5.5kW generator and LiquidSpring Suspension System. The module is finished in a two-tone scheme of Frazer White and Red (Pierce 90) with custom graphics designed, produced, and installed by Frazer in full collaboration with the customer, complete with upgraded conspicuity markings and chevrons.
Exterior highlights include a Rigid 50″ brow light, Whelen M-series and Pioneer Plus scene lighting, grille guard with wraparounds, Luverne running boards, dual air horns, aluminum wheels, and a Dometic self-contained HVAC system.
Interior features include a cobalt blue finish with stainless steel countertops, stacked cabinetry with refrigerator and MedVault, Valor Captain’s Chair with child safety seat, multiple seating positions with new 6-point harnesses, a Knox MedVault, and a Firetech UV-C disinfecting lamp. Cot retention is handled by a new Stryker Power-LOAD Gen 2 system, designed to secure the cot system during transport.
