The latest in Mobile Healthcare Training is on the streets of West Virginia.

Laura tours through 1 of 5 new training units for HealthNet Aeromedical Services. These units will be used by the state of West Virginia to train the next generation of EMS professionals.

This is a 14 ft. module with a RAM 5500 diesel chassis and Onan generator. A transverse compartment provides storage for a flatscreen TV. This TV is setup as a display for students and the instructor of the training simulation inside the unit.

In the interior is a simulation mannequin, defibrillator, and sophisticated A/V system powered by SIMStation. There are 3 cameras inside the unit providing different views of training simulations. With recording and bookmarking capability, this system is an ideal training tool for future professionals. These units are setup like Frazer’s standard EMS units, allowing students to get the real feel of their working environment.
