Frazer Announces New Partnership With OneDose to Bring OneWeight to EMS Providers Nationwide

Accurate, motion-tolerant patient weight – now available through the Frazer Family. Frazer is proud to announce a new partnership with OneDose, expanding our equipment offering to include OneWeightยฎ, the first integrated patient scale built specifically for ambulance gurneys and real-world EMS conditions. This collaboration reflects Frazerโ€™s commitment to supporting EMS crews with tools that improve safety, accuracy, and efficiency on every call. A Smarter, Faster Way to Capture Patient Weight Capturing an accurate patient weight is critical to delivering safe, effective care. But in the field, traditional weighing methods can slow down crews and create room for error. OneWeight solves this challenge by delivering instant, auto-calibrated measurements – even when scenes are busy, patient movement is unavoidable, or crews are working under time pressure. By integrating seamlessly into leading stretcher systems from Stryker and Ferno, OneWeight requires no workflow changes, no extra steps, and no additional equipment for crews to manage. Why Frazer Chose OneWeight Frazerโ€™s mission has always been simple: build tools and solutions that help EMS providers do their jobs safely and effectively. That includes partnering with companies whose products reflect the same focus on safety, reliability, and real-world practicality. OneWeight stood out for three key reasons: 1. Built for EMS Motion-tolerant, durable hardware designed to survive vibration, weather, and daily field use. 2. Improves Speed and Accuracy Auto-calibration and instant verification reduce guesswork and support faster treatment decisions. 3. Supports Safer Dosing and Documentation Accurate weight feeds directly into treatment protocols and integrates with dosing software (OneDose), giving providers another tool to reduce risk. Supporting the Frazer Family Experience Our partnership with OneDose directly supports our promise of Service After the Sale. Frazer customers will receive: This is more than a new product – itโ€™s another way Frazer invests in the long-term safety and success of EMS providers across the country. OneWeight Built for Real-World EMS Conditions

In EMS, every second matters. You donโ€™t always have the time or the space to stop and capture an accurate patient weight. Thatโ€™s why OneDose designed OneWeightยฎ, the first integrated, stretcher-ready scale built specifically for the unpredictable, fast-moving environments your crews work in every day. Through Frazerโ€™s partnership with OneDose, OneWeight is now available as a rugged, real-world solution that fits directly into the workflow you already use. No extra steps. No manual data entry. No slowing down your scene. Why OneWeight Exists: Solving a Real EMS Problem Patient weight drives critical treatment decisions – from medication dosing to equipment selection to patient safety during transport. Yet, field conditions often make it difficult to obtain a reliable number. OneWeight solves this by delivering accurate, auto-calibrated weight at the point of patient contact, even when conditions are less than perfect. Itโ€™s not a hospital scale repurposed for EMS. Itโ€™s a tool built for your environment: vibration, movement, weather, and tight timelines. Engineered for the Field, Not the Floor Below is a deeper look at how OneWeight meets the demands of real EMS conditions while keeping your workflow uninterrupted. Motion-Tolerant, Auto-Calibrated Measurements EMS scenes are rarely calm. Youโ€™re loading gear, moving quickly, and navigating uneven terrain. OneWeight is built to perform through all of it. This means crews can trust the number they see without stopping what theyโ€™re doing. Designed to Fit Your Existing Workflow OneWeightโ€™s low-profile hardware is intentionally engineered to stay out of your way. Crews can load and secure patients exactly as they do today. It works with your stretcher – not around it. Safe for Every Patient Population From pediatric patients to bariatric adults, OneWeight is designed to support almost every scenario your team may encounter. Operational safety isnโ€™t just a feature – itโ€™s the foundation of the system. Built to Survive EMS Conditions OneWeight isnโ€™t a delicate medical device. Itโ€™s field equipment. Crews can trust that it will work when and where they need it. Stay Connected. Stay Mission Ready. OneWeight is designed for long shifts and long days. This connectivity helps reduce errors, streamline documentation, and give crews the information they need when they need it. Compatibility You Can Count On OneWeight works with the most common stretcher systems in EMS today: This makes it an ideal upgrade path for agencies looking to modernize their workflow without replacing major equipment. Ready to Add OneWeight to Your Fleet? Frazer can help assess compatibility with your current equipment, walk you through pricing, and ensure your team gets the training and support they need to put OneWeight to work on day one. Winter Is Coming!

Maybe you’re a Game of Thrones fan unhappy with the final two seasons and an ending that felt rushed and arbitrary. Maybe youโ€™ve never seen an episode. No matter, the calendar we live by says winter is right around the corner so we figured now was an excellent time to point out some Frazer features that can improve your cold weather experience. Bring the Heat You probably know weโ€™re famous for ice cold air conditioning on our Generator Powered EMS modules. But you may not be aware that the same system has a beefy heater to keep you warm during cold weather months. Our electrical system allows you to plug into shore line and run the A/C or heat while the vehicle is in the station. Couple this with excellent insulation which provides thermal and acoustic protection and youโ€™ll have a comfortable patient compartment in almost any conditions. If youโ€™re located in a region given to winters colder than we see in Texas, we offer a supplemental hot water heater that runs off the chassis heater. Some services will close the valve on this heater during warmer months, so if you already have one, donโ€™t forget to open that back up as the temperature starts to drop. Maintain Your Pressure Colder temperature can affect your tire pressure causing fluctuations that result in lower pressure and consequent uneven tire wear. Checking your pressure on a regular basis is a good policy no matter the weather, but becomes more important through the winter. Frazer offers the CrossFire valve extenders with an integrated pressure gauge to help you keep tabs on your rear dual wheels. Fill both tires from one stem and monitor pressure with ease. Again, this isnโ€™t just a good idea for winter months, but is a helpful option year round. Chain Chain Chains Wintry road conditions can wreak havoc on confident driving and your crews donโ€™t have time to spend putting on tire chains. If youโ€™re area is prone to snow or icy conditions, consider OnSpot tire chains. Rather than putting a full chain on your tires, the OnSpot system swings an actuated arm carrying chains right in front of the tire providing extra traction without the hassle. Ambulance Graphics Are Neato!

Sure, youโ€™ve done all the hard stuff, figured out all the cool (and necessary) things you need for your new ambulance. But everyone knows that designing your graphics and color scheme is the best part of the build process. Letโ€™s take a look at what goes into making your unit sing. Thank You, Technology! One upon a time you were pretty much limited to a few different typefaces or fonts and a handful of colors to choose from. Anything beyond a simple beltline stripe usually had to be painted, and even then the ability to work out precise masking for special designs was laborious. Omaha Orange and Highway Gothic C, how exciting! Thanks to the advent of desktop computing and automation, a new breed of software programs and plotting cutters opened the doors to more imaginative design. Frazer started handling graphics in-house about 15 years ago as a way to provide our customers a turnkey product. Plus we knew if we were in charge of the process it would be handled with the same care and quality as the overall vehicle. Moving On Up A few years in to our graphical journey, we added a printer to our arsenal and allowing our customers to do things with graphics they hadnโ€™t had the chance to in the past. And if youโ€™ve noticed the changes in graphics packages over time, youโ€™ll see the effect increased capabilities have in unlocking imagination. Weโ€™re currently working with some companies that have advanced printing capabilities as well as looking into some new equipment that will let us take advantage of those things in-house. Nothing But Professional Graphics If you choose to have Frazer complete the graphics on your new rig, rest assured you will be getting advanced professional materials. We use 3M 680 reflective roll material for beltline striping, and we use the same 680 reflective sheet material for all of our cut graphics.ย And it comes with a 5 year warranty! We also have access to a wide variety of non-reflective sheeting for any custom designs you might want. Many of our customers utilize 3M Diamond Grade consipcuity sheeting on the rear wall of their modules. We offer that upgrade in a number of different color combinations to maintain consistency with the rest of your design. Our thermal printer/cutter is perfect for custom stars of life, department shields, station logos, and more. Teamwork 10 year Frazer veteran, Darren Mayo, can take almost any image you want and convert it into a printable version suitable for your vehicle. And, as he likes to note, we always put it on Sticky Side Down.  Melissa Boyce has been with us for over a year and will be the point person to work with if youโ€™re looking for some ideas on how to update your look. She has been in the graphic design industry for many years and does a great job taking your ideas from imagination to reality. Once completed, if you want the design files, no problem, and no charge. We understand that many of our customers like to work with graphics pros in their area and weโ€™re happy to help. Before you contract with someone, itโ€™s a good idea to find out if theyโ€™ll give you your files or if youโ€™ll have to pay to get them.  Our experienced team of in-house installers, led by 14 year vet Elton Dโ€™Agrella, will apply the completed graphics with care and quality. They know that’s the first thing youโ€™ll see on delivery day and they do not want to disappoint. Interested in finding out more about our graphics services? Feel free to give Melissa Boyce a call at 888-372-9371. Or click here for more info.
