Frazer Throwback Thursday – Emergency vehicles on the other side of the globe

Built for rugged, extreme heat environments – this throwback shows the first Frazer units for overseas use! In 2004 Frazer built resilient, heavy-duty units for KBR. These bad boys are fully capable of operating in extreme heat temperatures and are loaded with 220V 50 Hz electrical outlets. The KBR modules also have the distinction of being the first emergency Frazer units built for overseas use. The image above, shows one of these units at a scene in the heated climate of Iraq! Frazer Throwback Thursday – A look back at the Houston Police Bomb Squad unit

Squad Goals. A throwback Frazer unit for our very own Houston Police Department. During the 1980s, Frazer began the shift towards building emergency vehicles – many in our local Houston area. While spotting a bomb squad unit may be a bit more rare than an ambulance or fire truck, Frazer was up to the task when given the opportunity to build one for our hometown HPD! Frazer Flashback Friday! – A prototype leads the way into a new future.

This Flashback Friday features a turning point in the history of Frazer. After many years of building for the seismic and geophysical industry, Frazer, Inc. president John Griffin Sr. decides to explore the possibility of building emergency vehicles after seeing one while stopped at an intersection. Since this prototype in 1982, we’ve been building custom emergency vehicles ever since.
